AFA’08 Anime Festival Asia 2008 in Singapore!
Anime Festival Asia 2008(AFA’08) is held in Singapore Suntec City for the first time and it is the biggest Japanese Animation Event ever held in Singapore too! This was made possible by the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation in which will be attended by directors, producers, manga artists and creative individuals from Japan’s entertainment industries.
It will take place on 22nd-23rd of Nov 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center, AFA’08 will showcase a wide array of Japanese Pop Culture related content, spanning over 5,000 sqm of space with 6 experience zones: Akiba Town, Anime Live, Anime Blockbusters, Industry, Mangaka and Planet Mech, where visitors will gain access to exclusive content, merchandise and live acts straight from Japan.
AFA’08 is organized by I-Promo Events & Marketing in partnership with Dentsu Singapore. AFA08 is sponsored by Bandai, Japan’s leading toy manufacturer, with Animax as the official regional media partner.
Anime Festival Asia ’08 will be held at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Halls 403 and 404 from 10.00 am to 9.00pm.

MAY’N LIVE AT AFA08!
Her full name is May Nakabayashi and she’s known for her voice acting role in Macross Frontier as Sheryl Nome and sing both opening and ending theme songs which includes Diamond Crevasse, Iteza☆Gogo Kuji Don’t be late, Lion and Northern Cross. She’ll be performing live for AFA’08 in Suntec International Convention with at least 7 songs. So go down and cheer for her even you’re are not a fan of macross frontier, I’m sure she will surprise you with her singing. 
GENIUS PARTY BEYOND
Catch the exclusive showcase of Japan’s cutting edge Studio 4°C and it’s latest creation GENIUS PARTY BEYOND at AFA08. Featuring guest appearance by Koji Morimoto, co-founder of the Studio. Hmm not sure about this but

KUNIO OKAWARA
Catch Kunio Okawara as he makes a special appearance at Anime Festival Asia 2008! He was well known for mechanical designs of Gundam in 1979 till now as you can see in Gundam Seed Destiny and Gundam 00. He was in Tatsunoko Production for mechanical designs of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman before he was independent. Catch him at AFA’08 too!
